(2) Warren/Morton/Briggs/Negus Tree - prepared by James Arthur Negus
Richard Warren (b. 1580 Eng, d. 1628 Ply) - Mayflower + Elizabeth Walker (b. ? Eng, d. ?) (m. 04/14/1619 Heartford England)
Elizabeth and 3 children came on the Anne in 1623 (Mary, Ann, and Sarah) - had 2 more children in US: Nathaniel and Joseph Helen W. Morton - Have photos and is related to Jennie but older?
Robert Bartlett (b. 05/27/1603 Eng, d. ? Ply) + Mary Warren (b. 1610 Eng, d. 03/27/1683 Plymouth) Cornelia Church (Jennie Morton's "Grandma Church" ?) (b. 1835 d.1937)
Mary Cornell ?
Sergeant William Harlow (b. 1624, d. 08/25/1691) + Rebecca Bartlett (b. 1634, d. 1657 ) (m. 12/20/1649)
Built the Historic, "Harlow" House (1677), in Plymouth MA, Helped build 1st Plymouth Fort to defend colony Jennie Morton Briggs had clipping of the sale of "Harlow House" in her scrap book !!!! - why if not related ???
H. Gilbert Harlow (b. 1914) - A direct descendent of William Harlow and Richard Warren is a cousin of Tom Morton (perhaps via Sarah J. Harlow?) as is Janet B. Negus. Gilbert's father was last Harlow baby born in the Plymouth "Harlow House"
Gilbert met Linda Cherry by chance and found they were related via Tom Morton - Since Janet Briggs Negus is also cousin to Tom Morton, this somehow ties the Morton/Briggs to the Harlows and perhaps ultimately to Richard Warren
Albert Morton + Sarah J. Harlow - Children: Tom Morton, Warren ("Huck"), Ellis, Harriett "Hattie" Morton (Later married a Sturtevant)
Hattie B Morton - wrote old letter found in Jennie Morton's scrap book and was (Hattie Sturtevant) in the 1946 Briggs family reunion photo taken at the Holmes cottage in Plymouth. Clarify this to make it more understandable!
Albert Morton was Janet Briggs Negus uncle and Tom Morton was her cousin. Tom Morton was a professor of chemistry at Niagara University and Linda Negus Cherry remembers visiting him.
Someone here besides H. Gilbert Harlow is related to Richard Warren and it is most likely through Sarah J. Harlow Morton and likely no Warren blood in my veins (but what about Jennie's scrap book clipping?).
Josiah Morton (b. 09/15/1849 Plymouth, d. 09/14/1936 Plymouth) + Harriet B. Tallman (b. 11/27/1845 or 46 Plymouth, d. 11/12/1882 Plymouth, m. 10/02/1866 Plymouth)
